The Sonnet Of Captivating Gaze

"The Sonnet Of Captivating Gaze" by Syed Sohail Ahmed.

Oh, how my gaze was caught by her fair eyes,
Entranced, I felt her vision lock me in.
Her beauty draped upon me like the skies,
A cover pure and white that hid my sin.

Enveloped in her loveliness, my mind
Was lost amidst her clouds of purest grace.
But as I gazed upon her, I did find
A cage of beauty, holding me in place.

To break free, it took me many years,
To see past the illusion of her face.
And soon I realized, amidst my tears,
That I must leave this wondrous, shining space.

So now I stand, no longer trapped by love,
Released from that enchanting cage above.
