Oh, woe! My heart is heavy with great pain,
As I stand here by your grave, my dear father,
Tears fall like rain, my soul feels drained,
For you have left us, gone forever farther.
Your love, a guiding light in my life,
Your wisdom and strength, my constant support,
Now, I'm left with memories of your strife,
Of sacrifices made for us, your effort.
I'll miss your smile, your voice, your loving embrace,
And long for your comforting words of advice,
But now, there's only silence in this place,
As I mourn the loss of my father, so nice.
Our bond, so strong, will never be the same,
For you have left us in this earthly plain,
But though you've gone, your memory remains,
Forever in my heart, your love will sustain.
Oh, how I wish to hear your voice once more,
To feel your arms around me, as before,
But till we meet again, in another shore,
I'll hold you close in thought, and heart, and core.
