The Sonnet Of Sowing Hope

"The Sonnet Of Sowing Hope" by Syed Sohail Ahmed.

I sat and watched a child before my eyes,
Unable yet to stand, just crawling round,
With eager curiosity and surprise,
Exploring all the wonders to be found.

When hungry, only then did he cry out,
But flashing smiles lit up his little face
Each time he got his milk, with glee and shout,
Delighted with life's simplest joys and grace.

Each day, he learned to stand on his two feet,
Falling countless times, yet rising up again,
With unrelenting will and courage sweet,
Never losing hope or joy, despite the pain.

This child's steps, a symbol of his strength,
A lesson to us all, in hope and length.

For like a tiny seed, buried in the earth,
Enduring pressure, darkness, and great strife,
The stem will rise, the roots will find their worth,
And bloom into a tree, giving forth new life.

So take this child as an example true,
And let his hope inspire and renew.
