The Sonnet Of Nature's Talks

"The Sonnet Of Nature's Talks" by Syed Sohail Ahmed.

The mountain stands with pride that’s ever true,
Its peak extends into the sky above,
The water’s breadth expands in earth anew,
Carving its place with never-ending love.

The cloud above responds with grace and ease,
Its tears fall down, make mountains weep in pain,
The Earth below accepts, her wounds to ease,
And drinks the water, with no loss or gain.

The air blows softly, soothing Earth and sky,
The Sun above, its warmth it does bestow,
And with the Moon's soft light, the ocean's sigh,
The air cools down, a gentle night-time glow.

The man awakes with joy, and feels his worth,
But Earth shakes him, to remind of his birth.
