"The Sonnet Of School Clown" by Syed Sohail Ahmed.
In days of youth, we often find a clown
A classmate known for mischief and for jest
Who makes us laugh but also brings us down
And fills our hearts with envy and unrest
This student, he was one of that same crew
Whose hands would snatch our food during lunch hour
And laugh as we walked by, his legs askew
While we, the meek, would shrink back in our power
But now, with years gone by, I see it clear
That time has brought a wisdom and a grace
And as I look back on those youthful years
I find a smile upon my aging face
For though they made us feel like timid losers
We learned to laugh, and rose above abusers.
