The Sonnet Of Universal Emotions

"The Sonnet Of Universal Emotions" by Syed Sohail Ahmed.

From the vast expanse of earth to skies so high,
A conversation between two worlds unite.
The earth speaks with a voice that's deep and dry,
While the sky listens with its eyes so bright.

"O sky, how often do you witness my pain?
My soil that's parched, my rivers running dry.
The sun that scorches, the winds that do not wane,
How much more can I take before I die?"

The sky responds with a gentle embrace,
"I see your struggles, the battles you fight.
Your children suffering in this dreadful place,
But don't you worry, I'm here to bring light."

"I'll send my rain to wash away your tears,
To quench your thirst and soothe your burning ground.
Together, we'll overcome all our fears,
And heal the wounds that we have both found."

The earth then sighs with a heart full of hope,
For in the sky's words, she has found a way.
A partnership that will help them both cope,
And make the world a brighter place each day.

So let us cherish this bond between earth and sky,
For in their union, a new hope will arise.
